After his recent interaction with them, has realized that the Shorty Awards are being operated fraudulently and that the voting results are fixed to exclude candidates who the editors at the Shorty Awards don’t want to win. In addition to this, the Shorty Awards, have refused to police its own contests, and actually encourages false and defamatory campaigning while ignoring legitimate complaints of vote fraud. Because of the Shorty Awards voting fraud, they and Sawhorse Media have been revealed as wholly discredited.

Hoop dancing is as much a part of native heritage as is the teepee. Formal hoop dancing competitions have competitors using anywhere up to 30 hoops or more are held in various places around the world including Vancouver BC and Edmonton Alberta, but the most popular is in Phoenix Arizona. Dancers use the hoops to create shapes such as birds, snakes and butterflies while also incorporating unique footwork. The basic, all purpose climbing shoe is basically not much different from a hiking boot. You can set goals that will help you fight acne.  Your first goal can be to cut your sugar intake by 50%, then 75% and finally 100%. A good place to start is to remove your diet from all candy bars. Fishing, like golf or skiing or just about any sport has gotten way to specialized and seems to require multiple quivers of gear for different situations. You can’t use bass gear for trout. You have to have “lake fishing” set ups, “river fishing” set ups, trolling rods, casting rods.If you want want to have more fun with 9 inch fish, you have to go “light”. Level winds for salmon. Fly fishing gear for “fly only” waters.You get the picture.

Not only can you learn to fish anytime that you want to, in virtually every season, you can also learn to fish during the day or at night. If you are after a certain species, find out when they feed. Make sure to know where they like to hide too. Some will bite virtually anytime of the day, in any season and with just about any bait. Others are picky. All of this knowledge isn’t something that you need to know now though. You’ll learn in your training as well as through experience.

If you are going to make plastic worms use any soft worm plastic and mix the glow powder into it while it is melted. Stir and pour. I suggest letting it cool slightly, not too much, and stir just before pouring. The glow powder needs to be suspended in the plastic. If you want to add color add it just before the powder. Go light on the color so the glow comes through.

Another idea is to hot glue bobbers and lures all over an old lamp base. I think the more the better on this project, totally covering the base. Of course the lamp size and your taste make a difference. If it’s a very large lamp or you just don’t have enough lures and bobbers you can hot glue solid bands, about 2 inches wide, of hemp rope or twine to fill in larger areas.  A mobile like you see in babies rooms are fun and add an interesting art form to your fishing decor. I prefer to hang the fishing gear at different levels instead of all one length. Again I use twigs or sticks for this project’s “cross” to hang the lures, bobbers etc. from and fishing line to tie it all together.

Marketing is not any different than fishing. If you are tossing out the wrong hook to the right fish, they are not going to bite. If you have the right fish and hook, and the wrong technique, maybe a prayer or two will work. The results might trickle now and then. Yet, not the results you need.

Trolling for bass another excellent technique that works best in large rivers or lakes that have long stretches of deep water with slow to moderate current. Trolling is a relatively easier technique as compared to casting, and enables the amateur angler to cover more water thoroughly. The money is only the rosy side to the job. Crab fishing in Alaska is one of the most perilous of all jobs in the world. To fish for crabs in the glacial waters of the Arctic Ocean in sub-zero temperatures, with pounding waves thrashing on the deck and tossing the fishing boat treacherously and icy winds howling continuously, needs a stout heart and an able body. Furthermore, your work will involve negotiating the enormous crab pots and coils of line along the slippery deck.

I started going through the fishing pictures that we have taken in the past.  The photographs are from all over the state of Minnesota as well as Canada. I have decided that I am going to place them in a large frame that can accommodate several photographs. Then I will hang it in the living room next to the bay window that over looks the lake. This way we will be able to enjoy the fishing pictures all the time, instead of having to dig out photo albums. I am hoping to find a frame that will allow me to easily switch out photographs that are in the frame with new ones.
